The Binder's Room focuses on the art and love of bookbinding.
The Binder's Room was created from personal love of books and binding.
For a few years now, after falling back in love with reading,
I have been falling in love with the art of bookbinding and rebinding.
It all started with me wanting my own copy of Manacled.
This copy turned out dreadful - my typeset being improperly formatted, the book being rigid from using the wrong kind of paper and the wrong types of glue. I even got so excited that I glued one of my covers on upside down.
Since then, I haven't stopped honing my craft and falling in love.
Book binding found me at a time when I needed it more than I knew.
My love of books and binding truly saved my life, and I don't know where I would be without them.
As for the name, I, like many readers, have a never-ending "TBR" list.
Although most of us know this to stand for To-Be-Read, I wanted to give a nod to that in my bindery's name, hence, The Binder's Room was born.
Much like my TBR list, The Binder's Room symbolizes a boundless (pun intended) love for books and a passion that will continue to grow.

I am the person behind The Binder's Room!
I am a born and raised Montanan, currently located in Missoula.
Although my deep love for reading is apparent, I also have a strong passion for photography, rock hounding, travel, and my 10.5 year old rescue mutt, Zeus.
